One Big Family
The CoffeeHouse is your traditional Mom and Pop establishment, with not so traditional origins. Where Pop, is from the island of Aruba, and Mom is from Czech Republic. First came love, then came marriage, then came coffee! Our Coffee beans are sourced from all around the world. Grown, harvested, and picked by farmers and their families in countries such as Brazil, India, Guatemala, Colombia, Kenya... your morning coffee, truly, is a global marriage, in a cup.
One Big Community
The space was designed with the Uptown Normal community in mind to offer a variety of seating. There is ample amount of space to host large group meetings at one of our communal tables. Dine for two at our smaller tables is also an option. By moving a couple chairs and tables around you can access our performance stage. The interior walls are left for the featured artist of the month. Stop in and check out the local artwork.
Located just off the campus of Illinois State, The CoffeeHouse offers a unique menu with vegetarian and vegan options. Breakfast is served all day long, with daily lunch and dinner specials on hand. Coffee is available in bulk, by the pound or half pound. There are always fresh-baked pastries, whole-grain breads, cookies, and cakes on hand as well.
